“We stayed overnight in the desert camp and did a camel safari the next day. The best part was staying with the lovely local family in the desert and their two burst idyll children! I would definitely recommend Yogi and his safari: he's honest, caring and it was a pleasure to deal with. The desert is abt quite as the photos on the Internet of white sand dunes as far as the eyes could see, but to be honest I don't think you'll find that anywhere in Rajasthan. They cooked us some lovely food, especially our lunch in the desert.“

“It was amazing staying at Camel Safari for two days. The calmness of the environment, the staff that helps around the place and Yogi were amazing people and always treated me as family. I went to the camp with a friend from the UK and both of us had a great experience. Maybe the landscape is not as astonishing as African deserts but the beauty of the sunrise and sunset was just incredible. The food was made by the family who lives there and it was delicious, all fresh. The tents to spend the night were super comfortable with all the amenities you can expect.
Thank you so much Yogi and Latchman, I hope I can meet you again in the future.”

“From food to camel ride to cultural evening to cottage stay, the experience was memorable. The package included following: in afternoon, we reached the place and settled in our cottage. In evening, we were taken for a camel ride. The camel left us there till sunset and took us back to the place. Then in some time cultural night started, a Rajasthani folk dancer presented a show (it was great) and snacks were provided during the dance with delicious taste. At the end of the show, everyone started dancing on the Rajasthani music and enjoyed the night. Then, we had dinner. It was a great night. The next morning, we needed to travel back very early and the staff was generous enough to arrange our breakfast so early. Overall, it was awesome experience and I would recommend it to all who really want to see the real hospitality and culture of Rajasthan.
A special thanks to Yogi and his Team for great hospitality (Keep it up). See you soon :)”

“There are too many subjective reviews. I will be objective.
Company: gave us a detailed explanation about the tour, host is very friendly and flexible, willing to give us the best and most comfortable service possible. He took care of just anything.
Facilities: Along with our camels (one each), a cart pulled by other camels came as well, carrying our lunch, bottles of water, it could have served as a ride for us in case we got tired of the camel ride itself, 3 staff came with us and they fixed us our picnic lunch in the steppe/desert. The camels were comfortable to ride and had many pillows to assure your back doesn't get too painful. It's a 2,5 hour ride before lunch, lunch takes a little less than 3 hours to be followed by another 2 hours ride.
Room: we had booked an overnight. While I slept outside under the sky, my friend had her rest in the well-built and equipped bungalow/hut with a fan, toilet, bathroom, light and a comfy bed. As well we were served a delicious meal.
Tip: you can adjust your tip as you like. I've said earlier, the host is flexible in his arrangements. We booked an overnight stay and the following day we were taken by car back to the hotel. Everything felt very safe and secure.”

“I went to Yogi's place with my family. It was a very nice experience and yogi was a fantastic host. He welcomed us with a breakfast and spent time with us to discuss and share his culture. Very nice place, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it.”

“I did a desert safari with Yogi in the Thar desert and wow what an incredible experience! We stayed in mud huts, which were very comfortable also very authentic. Food was excellent, we had camp fire in the evenings. Yogi thought of everything, he is such an amazing host, cares so much for the guests and will do anything for your comfort. Not only I experienced the beautiful desert also had a true feel for the Rajasthani hospitality. Thank you for a lovely time in the desert!!” Ceyd – Chicago, United States

“We were group of 10 family members riding on camels and camel cart. The ride to Campsite was fun, we even spotted deers on our way. Our overnight stay in tent and hut was comfortable; Mr. Rathode (resort owner) took extra care of our meals and transportation. The night camp and entertainment show was amazing, even our kids enjoyed the Rajasthani folk dance and fire-based acrobatics. We completely enjoyed this safari and night stay.” Abhijeetchavan – Mumbaï, India

“We were 2 groups (12 people each): one decided for Jaiselmer and we decided to go to Bikaner. After sharing our experience we came to know that we, the BIKANER team, enjoyed 1000% more by spending 50% less. It was our option to ride camel or camel cart, lunch in the mid of desert, camel milk tea made in front of us by milking camel (we also tried milking).
Swiss cottages were ready for us, which gave us the real feeling. Wild animals like deers, sambhers, wild boars, rabbits, … (obviously not lion/tiger) made our safari real like.
Watching Sunset on camel in the middle of a desert was ultimate experience, then our full day tiredness was broken by long campfire, Rajasthani dance and added flavor was our dance on our songs (hindi/punjabi), we enjoyed until everyone was ready to go to sleep :).
Food was really very good, which gave us the feeling of home away from home.
All this was just because we booked Safari: all the above arrangements were made by Mr. Yogendra Rathore (Yogi Ji). He was so helpful and kind to all of us. The real Gentleman, it is hard to find a man of his gesture so kind to tourists and really he was interested only how tourists can enjoy to fullest.
I will recommend everyone to once try SAFARI then they will never try Jaiselmer. My other group members are also planning their next trip to Bikaner.”

“I had a nice and relaxing time in the desert with CAMEL SAFARI. I liked the whole experience from the camels to the sleeping. The desert is not necessary full of life, but that was exactly what I enjoyed: silence.”
Pauline – Berlin, Germany

“It was my first experience of camel riding in desert. Very nice nature, interesting trip and helpful guides. Night in desert was awesome! I recommend this trip for everyone who would like to come close to the nature. Not expensive and very comfortable.”
Anton – Saint-Petersbourg, Russia

“We had an excellent time doing camel riding during the day (2 of us on one camel was nice as we got to chat) with a nice long break in the middle of the day for rest and a freshly cooked lunch followed by a night at the mud hut camp (the mud huts are luxury ones with en suite bathrooms!) where we chose to stay under the stars. The family that runs the camp set up beds with clean sheets and duvets and made us very welcome.
During the day we were with the guys who owned the camels who spoke almost no English but made sure we were happy with no problems.
Yogi made us at ease throughout it all and he understands the needs of both foreigners and Indians. We also had a very interesting chat with him and his friend at the camp giving us better insight into Indian life and politics.”
Natacha – London, United Kingdom

"CAMEL SAFARI is lovely experience, which will take you away from crowded Jaisalmer: I had heard about it from other travelers I met & I made a great choice.
You will spend your day riding on the back of a camels and experiencing how the traditional nomads would have lived, watching the camel owners cooking delicious traditional Indian meals on fire that they whip up in seconds and serving up delicious coffee. After your day trekking on the camels, you will settle down into a lovely little campsite around a fire, watching a dancer or musicians if you so desire. A peaceful night under millions of stars."
