Commitment to Natural Resources conservation and healthy living:
Hot water is provided by solar panels designed by the Central Arid Research Institute of Jodphur.
A solar oven is occasionally used for cooking rice and lentils.
We choose low energy consumption bulbs using five times less electricity.
Rainfall in paved courtyard and from the roof is collected in an underground tank and used for agriculture.
We encourage the traditional Indian way of bathing (with bucket and mug available in each bathroom) that uses 2 to 3 times less water than shower with running water.
Fruit juices are bought in glass bottles, which are taken back by the dealer.
Leftover food is given to animals or composted.
